This isn’t a huge album in terms of the amount of songs. It’s more of an EP than anything. It is huge in sound and in the way it hits you. This is ass kicking rock!

Bacchus Baracus have recently released their debut full length Tales of Worries, Woes & Whatever after a strong EP that was released in 2011.

The guys waste no time getting right down to business. Tales of Worries, Woes & Whatever is a non stop ride of deep and gnarly vocals, heavy neck snapping guitars, crushing riffage thoughout. The drumming is no joke either. You’d be hard pressed to find a better drummer not named Bonham, Moon, or Ward. The doomy overtones in “Fuck Knows Man” add to an already intense album. It’s the highlight of the album.

If retro rock mixed with a hint of indie rock and fuzz rock is the in thing, well Bottlecap is certainly an “in” band. This bad ass album has been staring at me long enough. I finally gave it a spin on the trusty old turntable. Wow. Very impressive album. It’s firey right from the get go. It’s a high adrenaline album that gets you shaking from start to finish.

The self titled album by this Swedish 3 piece is a straight up rock and roll album from front to back. There’s not a lot of extra “fluff” added to make for a superficial album. It’s about as honest of an album as you’ll hear.

This vinyl was also starring at me. It told me to give it a spin. I’m a sucker for vinyl so I thought, why not. I remember listening to their release from last year and loving the hell out of it. Could this release be any better? The answer of course is a resounding yes. Bigger music, louder are two words I can think of. Don’t take my word for it, the band has it for a FREE download!
