Thanks for the generous comments!! I have listened to this album many times since and it’s truly one of the years best.

Owning this gem in any format is worth it…I just have to emphasis if you havent gone vinyl..do so ASAFP bc its a different bird.

Said dance is called “Im high as Fuck and Orchid is in control”. No you tube planned..ever!!

Fucking sweet review. I’m fuckin stoked now for this Tuesday.

Two things:

Some great lines here: “‘The Loving Hand of God’ is the soul of doom” is fucking classic– makes me think of Orchid as the James Brown of doom/stoner metal….

And “Made for candlelight I swear” makes Orchid seem sinister, and in this: even cooler.

Also because I did not in fact order the vinyl (only the MP3), I feel, well… Less Than Kvlt. But in a way, I like that. It makes me try harder as a doom fan. Thanks for that, M:D.

Also, one last thing:You said, and I quote, “‘Mountains of Steel’ causes me do dance….”

Three more questions:

Is this in fact true; if in fact so, what dance; and can you supply a Youtube video of said event?
