“Out of the waters of the Black Creek four hell spawn was born. Each under a different star, mastering their own sonic spectra. Crossing paths one day, the magic of the black creek expanded their minds and set out new, greater horizons. Forging their own sound in the fires of mount Djakne and the cooled waters of the Black Creek they set out to conquer the world.”
For a demo (that is also a FREE download), these are some pretty tasty and massive songs. I love the heavy blues rock with the more aggressive vocals in “The Hour of the Wolf.” It’s long at over 9 minutes but right from the get go you’re hooked. Check out the solo towards the end. “Jaguar Man” has this ambient intro that really sets the tone for the whole song. It picks up and gets aggressive and heavy close to the halfway mark. “Katla” closes out the demo in style. It doesn’t start out as heavy as previous tracks but does keep a nice and mellow flow until about 6 minutes in then it picks up a bit.
I definitely see good things in the future for A Black Creek Experience. They have 3 solid demo tracks that I’m sure sound much better then they originally intended. Their style of heavy psych is awesome. They’re going to have some work to do to top this whenever they do record an EP/LP. I’ve got them on my radar now. Are they on yours?

Uhh, actually, I’m afraid that we don’t have a demo at the bandcamp page for the time being. Since we haven’t gotten hold of the lossless files from the studio recording yet (which are required to upload the demo to bandcamp), we currently only have a lossy (MP3) version of the demo at Soundcloud.
By the way, thanks for your interest in the demo!
