Swedish rockers in SPIDERS are releasing their debut album Flash Point on October 5th, 2012, via Crusher Records. The track Weekend Nights, taken from their forth-coming album, will be released as a 7-inch vinyl single on September 7 and also contain the non-album track Lies. SPIDERS was formed in early 2010 by previous Witchcraft guitarist John Hoyles, Graveyard-drummer Axel Sjöberg, Ann-Sofie Hoyles and Matteo Gambacorta. Their debut self-titled 10-inch EP sold out the first edition of 700 copies in less than three weeks, which is more than excellent for a new band. Later this year drummer Axel Sjöberg was replaced by Ricard Harryson (The Maharajas, Fox Machine).
Flash Point has been recorded and produced by Per Stålberg and Olle Björk at Welfare Sounds Studio and mastered by Hans Olsson Brookes at Svenska Grammofonstudion in Göteborg, Sweden.
