By now if you haven’t heard of The Midnight Ghost Train that must mean you’re new to stoner rock. Even so, The Midnight Ghost Train has been making such a splash lately that even talentless fucks like Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are envious. Enough of them. Buffalo is the latest release from The Midnight Ghost Train. Back from previous albums are the riffs and catchy tunes that made The Midnight Ghost Train stand out. Don’t take that the wrong way, this isn’t more of the same. Well it is and isn’t. Their signature sound is there. Steve Moss’s voice, which is easily recognizable, returns in full form full of screams and howls. His deep and gritty voice give this album character. The instruments range from heavy and fuzzy to bluesy and crushing. The song writing is top notch. Buffalo is an easy album to get lost in, especially when a certain “green” movement is involved. Even without though, it’s still pretty fucking epic.
